I remember reading about a heritage system from EQ1 characters. Was this idea dropped? I haven't heard anything about it since launch. If it's still around, what's it like?
Well, there is the possibility for those who preordered (or for all? Not sure) to add the name of the server of EQ they played on to their name.
I offcourse immediately messed up and now have the wrong name, lol, but still. Several people running around like that.

I had the Heritage Quest pop up with one of my toons when he was in the low teens. Gave me the option of giving me an 'Of Server XXXX" name and also, I think, two wall hangings for my apartment.
If it was all the same to SoE, I think that I'd rather my EQ1 account 'heritaged' some of that platinum that will now go poof when I /cancel the account...
