Keep nationality to yourself pleaseFollow

As of late I've noticed a lot of hostility from people who are not of US origins in open chat such as OOC and shout. I appreciate the fact that you have differences with our government and our ideals and beliefs. But this is everquest... the land of fantasy and escape. Now I'm not saying, dont defend yourself, but there is no need for lashing out unprovoked at people. Last I recall they do have European servers, if you really dislike us so much, wouldn't you feel more comfortable there?

Sony only has provided a french and a german server. There are actually parts of europe that are outside those 2 countries and Sony hasn't been willing to provide them with a server of their own.

Does that mean that they should come to our servers and say "**** AMERICANS!" No.. it doesn't. So shut the **** up. Oh.. and I just got back from London, and Scotland.. Scotlands rocks though. =p London.. is just.. Busy.. Paris just tries to rip you off.

On top of that. Heres some math. An average of 3.17 after 800 post. How many post would you have to rate down to knock me down by even .1%? Not that karma means anything.

Almost back on line, I'm a International Studies major. Trust me to spread my theories on Nationallity throughout the world in the name of all Americans! Its a shame that people can form stereotypes of a whole country based on knowing one or two people from them. You know, kinda like saying Canadians are slow and sit around eatting maple syrup all day. I'll try to stay away from France for yall though since I'll probably be that one guy they know.

He meant it ironicly you twit. Didnt you catch the whole irony of him bashing on the French on a thread about people NOT bashing on Americans.

Im a scholar and Im NOT rating him down for making the joke (he even states hes being ironic in a later post). I should however rate you down Kensi for dragging this thread completely off topic (dont even say Brookie started it). Please dont drag threads off topic. I wont rate you down though, just let the irony you missed go please, its detracting from the actual thread.

I don't know. I have not seen a word of nationality on my server, Everfrost, much less any hate. I don't even know what nationality my server is suppose to be, except everyone speaks English.

well i for one have not seen any anti-american comments made on the server i play on (kithkore), i'm sure it's out there. personally i thought the comment of French players calling for help against green mobs was kinda funny. that's fine i guess, and maybe your country offers some form of freedom of speech and i guess you're entitled to it, but if you're going to bash us americans, then firstly you'd better expect it in return and secondly, why don't you just give me back my share of tax money that is taken from my paycheck each week that goes to subsidize your country and it's economy in the form of foreign aid.
