I'm sure everyone is ready to go kill ppl after reading the 300 million posts relating EQ2 with FFXI, and sometimes WoW. I at first felt it was okay, because I enjoy answering questions for FFXI players, because I was one. Now however it's changed. People post too much about this crap, and I'm about to puke from this ****.
Whoever moderates the boards, make one of those ! threads titled: Before Posting in this forum. In there please just give links to past threads on these topics.
A) Will my computer run the game B) Compare this game to FFXI C) Elitism, constant partying, making money, etc in relation to FFXI and finally D) WoW pwnzzzz EQ2 nubbsszz0rzz0z0z posts.

I also realized people are now posting the same thing as me, and I'm glad for that. But at the same time, we have to make sure to not let posts like this get out of hand such as the FFXI relation ones.
For every new FFXI player coming over here, person who says WoW pwnz this, asks if their PC will run this, and people relating EQ2 to any MMO, I will not only rate you down, but HUNT you down and slap you a good one! Then I'll kindly say, "Quit it you poopy head." And that will be that.

Just because you've moved on to bigger and better things doesn't instantly make the old trash. I don't play FF anymore, but I won't be one to sit here and trash it all to hell. It was fun for a while, it had its good points. it kept my interest for about 8 months. Now all these people that where loving the game and two weeks after switching think its the not any higher then the lint wad stuck in their bellybuttons. If you really thought the game was that bad and you played it for that long, your momma should slap you just like your Uncle Charlie does because of your own damn ignorance for playing something you don't like.

I didnt like the game (became a chore after a month) or the people....soooo keep up the ******** on those L337 asses. They deserve all you can dish out.

Not everyone can like a game. They are entitled to their own opinions.
Its just annoying how people will turn around and backstab it in the back after they played it for a year and a half thinking it the coolest thing. If you don't like it, ok. If you liked it and loved it up until something new came out...have a sense to follow your own ambitions and not just join a crowd to bash it.

I just rated em back up. Mainly cause Outlaw Star is one of my favorite animes (damn Cartoon Network censoring the hell outa it made everyone hate it.)

Yes, it is not fair to trash on a much older game like FFXI and compare it to EQ2. I mean, FFXI was made in 2001, wasn't it (in Japan)? That is like the older EQ1 vs. FFXI arguements. It was not fair to compare the grandady of current MMOs (I know there were ones b4 it, like M59) to a game that came out 2 years later.
Maybe someone should tell people to stop posting the same "I'm so sick of [game comparisons / computer questions / elitism / WoW > EQ2]" posts.
I think I've seen more posts exactly like yours, OutlawStar, than any other repetitive type of post. It only adds to the same fluff. It won't stop people who don't read other forum posts first, because they won't read your forum post first. It also lumps itself into the same camp as the posts you hate, because it shares the same subject.

My god I found Intelligence at last *X-files theme plays, faints because there are actually intelligent people that play online games*.
If I were emperer, err I mean admin, FF anything would be forever banished from mention in this forum, and my eyebrows would raise at wow.
