Whos are the FFXI Vets that are playing EQ2???Follow

Hello all FFXI Vets! I'm just curious to see how many people are out there that are coming from FFXI. Maybe even find some old buddies from the Phoenix server :) I was a lvl 60 Elvaan Darknight named Crazyfool on the Phoenix server for FFXI, now am a lvl 16 Kerra Predator on the Highkeep server for EQ2. Feel free to introduce yourself if your an FFXI vet, and share your thoughts about EQ2 so far.

I am a ffxi vetran. Starting tomorrow I will be going back to ffxi not for good but I'm at the point now where I don't have to play eq2 everyday so now I can share my time between the 2.

I played on Phoenix too.. lvl 61 SAM and 61 RDM

I'm an FFXI vet too hailing from the Faydark server. Played FFXI for almost a year (9 months) with 3 mid lvl (30-45) chars to show for it.

We have compiled an article from questions many people and students have asked us about the becoming a veterinarian and being a vet.

I kind of wish I was an EQLive vet rather than a FFXI vet. I feel that I missed out somewhat.

I used to play "it"...*sigh* good times when I first got that game. You could be any job and no one would care cuz we were all noobs. Then all of a sudden everyone got that "perfect job, perfect party" mentality. Not to mention the excruciating exp grinding you had to do (which was all there was to do, because the quests sucked) While partied, people would get pissed if you went afk for like, 2 seconds. Why? because it takes 30k exp to level and the average group will get 2-3k xp an hour. AND not to mention there were some jobs that wouldn't even get parties EVER. poor them. I never had this problem as a paladin but when i leveled other jobs, i really felt your pain. I'm not even going to dive in to complaining about gil.

Formerly Taffu from Asura server, 60 Blm / 60 Whm / 43 Drk...played FFXI since release up until EQ II came out (lil over a year). I haven't really had the urge to go back to FFXI, although my wife has been botherin me to get back into it just for the end game. I told her if she get's her Whm up to 60 to party with my Blm, I might consider it (she's at 54 currently...uh oh). I think I just wanna complete my Zilarts and maybe get a few run at Gods.

I played FF since the NA release. I was a 50THF amongst other jobs. I played on Quetzacoatl and had a great time waiting for EQ2 aka playing FF. Was fun while it lasted.

Played from NA release til September, then pickup up EQ live for old time's sake. I was very impressed with the changes they had made to the game, and I made it to level 30 Beastlord before I got into EQII beta

I made it to 63rd Ranger, 52nd Bard, 51st paladin but I just couldn't stand the endgame or the fact that you leveled and got...well...nothing. No new abilities, very little new equipemnt just another new level grind.

Played from beta on through..um...technically my account just ended a couple days ago, but I stopped really playing once I got into EQ2 beta.

I never got to very high level in my jobs, but I did craft til I was blue in the face haha! I was the first NA to (announce at least) cap all the crafts. My husband quit back in April, my enjoyment of fighting in the game left with him. I always told my friends that as soon as I "finished" crafts I was gone. Had to sell my Lu Shangs to finish before EQ2 officially came out, but I got it done anyway hehe.

63 Bst on ifrit, I play both... more EQ2 tho.

/bow I was a level 60 Dragoon, 50 Samurai, 30 Ranger, 30 Ninja, 40 Thief, the list goes on within Asura server. Started FFXI since PC release, quit a couple months ago for Ragnarok Online, came back for a month before I did WoW beta. Then I'm here on EQ2. *Also played Lineage 2, SWG, EQ1, EQOA, and DAOC*
