Hi, I recently moved from FFXI to EQII.. and i love it but when ever i come to these forums i almost always see people complaining about how much FFXI sucked... plz, keep the FFXI off these forums i know you all hated the million hour lfp times, gil selling, gil farmers, best gear - best stats - best jobs mob mentalities, but plz, that was an awful experience for me too so keep it off the EQII forums where people who escaped FFXi dont want to be reminded of that Hell >.<

p.s. if you were a mage or bst i no you never had lfp... dont go ranting on about how you never had to wait.. play a melee's job up to 40+ and you will see how long the lfp times are

p.p.s. btw if you hate my opinion and rate me down i dont give a sh*t

Well the guy has a point :)

We should be discussing things to help make the EQ2 community better, and not bash other games even if their names start with an F or a W. ;)

If YOU ***** youll get punched in the head. J/k 8) *Ill rate you up cuz Im nice*

I played "it".......now I get That funny feeling whenever I see "its" name or "it", You know the feeling like every meal you ate in the past day wants to come back out and say "Hey there!". Ivven is right, "it" produces flashbacks of the inhumane things that happened in "it".

Heh, I am still getting used to the idea of having a successful party without 6 members at all times.

That is one of the reasons I wont play WoW, I would have to deal with the Blizzard fanbois and all of the terminology from the previous blizzard games... "WUG" = "What you got", I first ran into that when I played Diablo2 online with my friend for the first time. EQ terminology never bothered me, but trying to play a MMO with people that are, as a majority, used to playing the likes of D, D2, WC 1,2&3 etc, makes me cringe. I can just see the mobs ping ponging now and me running back to the group.

Ok im done... =p

What heresy do you speak? All groups must consist of 6 members at all times! And these groups must be properly balanced at all times, with 2 tanks, 1 healer, 1 nuker, and 1 rogue (with the last position a floater)!

I will hear no more talk of non-balanced groups of less than 6 members! Smiley: grin

I dunno, gxm, some of the EQ terminoligy bothers me, even though I started with EQ back in the day. Smiley: tongue

I'm still getting used to "gtg". I keep thinking they have to leave. hehe

I duoed with someone on the IoR the first day I played and realized that I was free. Free to experience the world with less than 6 people. And I proclaimed it was good.

GTG means 'good to go'. Another military term that got squeezed into everyday language by the masses (of WHAT, I don't know!). Basically refers to a unit or person or piece of military hardware that is ready for action.

Well, perhaps if FF peps are offended at perceived slights we should refer to it as the game known beforehand as FF.
