Why Oasis??Follow

#1 Dec 01 2004 at 12:17 PM Rating: Decent
Why is it that in almost every patch the Oasis server is down for some time after said patch? I am really starting to regret choosing Oasis Server now, and regret even more the time I've already put into my shaman, God knows I don't wanna have to restart him on another server that strangely doesn't get held up after patches.

Oh well Rant off . . .

I really dunno wtf you are talking about. I play Oasis and it's typically up VERY quickly after the updates. Quite often as quickly as 10-15 minutes after it was taken down (Even with a 2 hour downtime message). In fact, many times I get onto the login server and it gives message that all servers are down BUT I CAN STILL GET ON OASIS. Maybe on occasion they were slow to get the server back up, but more than likely they were slow getting ALL the servers back up. I have no problems with Oasis.

I can understand your frustrations, however so many factors can contribute to the issue you are addressing, that it's almost impossible to get any form of solid information on a forum. Different people will have different experiences and takes on it...

...I certainly know that everytime they go down, my perception is that my server is the slowest and last one up. :) But that would most likely be my impatience to get back in the game.

The servers are always faster on the other side of the connections.
