First you must be in a guild to even begin gaining status points and have these options open to you.

Once you are in a guild, I believe the horses can be purchased from a City Merchant when your guild level is high enough. Either that or more horse options open up at the stables themselves. Our guild is not high enough, so I'm not sure which it is.

Ok guys, I just got the strat guide (because I'm loser I know)
Anyway, what it says here for buying a horse while a member of a guild, "Players that belong to a guild may receive up to a 25% discount on the price of each type of mount depending on their guilds level. The stable hands will check your guild status before offering you the prices for mounts and the discounts offerd because of your guild affiliation"

Now so long as the guide is correct at later guild levels you will get the discount, somewhere else it mentions somehting about the differant Tiers for a guild being 1-11 then 12-20.. or somthing along those lines. Keep in mind this all comes from the Official guide, and oh yea, I'm bored at work.

Off topic, but does it give a max level for a guild? I have yet to see anything stating what the guild level cap is.

Highest the guide has listed is 30. It does'nt state that is the highest it's just thats the highest on the chart they show. So going by assumption, 30 would be the highest.
