I made a 2nd chat window. I now dont like having it and I can't delete it completely. I "X" it and it goes away, until I hit <enter> and it pops back. Very distracting now that I dont need it. Short of a reinstall how do I get rid of it and have it not come back?
This may be something odd so I bugged it in game. No one else I tried to get help from could repeat my problem.

Right click the window you want to remove. There is a selection such as remove bar, clear bar or something of that nature. I'm at work now so I can't check. I did the same thing, I know by right clicking the window an option is in there to remove it.

Right click gives chat options such as say tell group etc and always chat here. Right clicking on any of those doesn't say remove. I looked in main optins under chat window and interface options. Nothing there made sense to me. I would like to see some sure thing solution because I have decided to reinstall, but for the next person who encounters this problem, a solution may save them the pain.
try pressing alt c alt s ctrl s ctrl p ctrl abasdsafouasf ... lol when i started i accidentally made a pet window.. and a whole bunch of wierd windows wich i had no use for.. but if you press that key again it will go away.. so just just press buttons ... Famous last words, "Whats this button do?" o.O

Removed game from control panel and reinstalled. Same thing...I thought all defaults would reset when reinstalled. Well I tried all suggestions so far. I still cant hit <enter> without having annoying chat window pop up and take over my chat.

That's because you need to select the other one. (The one you want to keep), and check "always chat here". Otherwise, the other window will always pop up when you hit enter.

Yep, just got home here. I can always close the new windows unless I choose to select "Always chat here" in the new window.
Once I select always chat here in the old window I may close the new one.
