Hey there, this might be a dumb question, but thats just the type a guy I am I guess:0

I was getting very mad that basically my best HO only used the first 3 moves I got in the game..."Sky Cleave"
Starter + wind swing + taunt....then repeat
Then I was talking to a friend and he told me to try upgrading my HO starter abililty (Sorry forgot the name of it) and maybe that would open up some new combos for me, is that true??

And where the heck do ya get AppII or better for it??

If there is an upgrade to the Heroic Opportunity Starter, I wanna know as well! I'm 21 and my HOs are...quite frankly, pathetic. They do barely any more damage than my normal every swing hits. So, I'm with the original poster :) Please tell us if there is an HO Starter upgrade!

EDIT - And where they can be found, for that matter :)

There's no upgrade. It merely starts the HO.

I can do ~60 damage with my solo HO as a level 17 Crusader. There are basically three tiers to each HO. Fighters can do Sky Cleave (common), Crushing Anvil (uncommon), and Hero's Armor (rare). I've heard that fighting enemies that con higher raises the chance of the rare ones being done, but I don't know if that is true or not. I get Crushing Anvil ~40% of the time, and that's what does 60 damage or so.

Each one has 3 tiers too, whether it be group or solo, so keep that in mind in groups as well.

I think you can upgrade your HO starter.

Im a scout/troubador. My HO is Luck break. its still at App I.

this is what I am thinking. everyone have "Spirit" as increase running speed. but when you mouse over, it only show the name "spirit". it doesnt show "Spirit (App I)" etc. that means you cannot buy Spirit App II or App III to upgrade it. but my "Luck Break" marked as "Luck Break (App I)".

so I think you can upgrade, just donno where selling it or how to tradeskll it.

YOU CANT upgradde the starter, what it does is just initiates the HO, from then everything is up to you and your group members...

I would like to know if we ever get additional starters? And in reply to the first post, use other abilities to do HO's after you use your starter. There are other abilities that have the same "type" that are more than likely stronger than your original chain abilities.
