SubclassesFollow

I am about to choose my Fighter subclass, and I am just wondering how each subclass alters my stats. I know that each subclass can use different weapons and armor, but what about HP? For example, would a Troll Berserker and a Troll Bruiser and a Troll Guardian and a Troll Shadowknight all have the same HP, assuming they all had the same eq and same level? Or does the class effect what kind of base stats you will get? Thanks for the info.

Im assuming that the guardians/berserkers would get the edge in HP and AC, being the more "Tank" types, but SK's also would get some good hp/ac, but they can use spells, so dont get as much as the guar/bers, this is just my thoughts, dont know forsure..

Look in the manual pp. 26 ff.

Here's the exact breakdown in case you don't have your manual anymore:

Warrior: +5 Str, +3 Agi, +2 Sta
-- Berserkser: +5 Str, +3 Agi, +2 Sta
-- Guardian: +5 Str, +2 Agi, +3 Sta

Brawler: +3 Str, +5 Agi, +2 Sta
-- Bruiser: +5 Str, +2 Agi, +3 Sta (Freeport Only)
-- Monk: +2 Str, +5 Agi, +3 Sta (Qeynos Only)

Crusader: +5 Str, +3 Sta, +2 Wis
-- Paladin: +5 Str, +3 Agi, +2 Wis (Qeynos Only)
-- Shadowknight: +5 Str, +3 Agi, +2 Wis (Freeport Only)

I also included each class' subclass so you can try to use that to help in your decision :)

Are those numbers per level? For example, as a warrior would you get 5 STR per level?

Those are one-time bonuses you get when choosing that class/subclass.

Ok, two more questions.

1. What is the relationship between total stamina and hp? Is it 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 or what?

2. Does equipment that adds to STA increase your hp when leveling? So if I am wearing eq that gives STA while I level will I get more hp than if I wasn't wearing it while I level?

By the way, thanks a lot for the help. I have been waiting to choose my subclass and I didn't realize that was how it worked. (new to EQ)

There is no bonus of having stamina on level-up. The bonus from stamina is computed when you wear the equip, and scales up to your level. The conversion rate on stamina to HP depends on your level.
