Greetings,

Would anyone pls help me with the following items:

1) Where can I find a merchant that sells an ingredient called Suspension, it is used in making runes for fighter skills. Someone told me you can make it but I dont have a recipe for it. I am currently a lvl 8 artisan, do I have to be higher to have the skill to make that?

2) Where can I find a merchant that sells pattern for raw hide armors?

3) Where can I buy other artisan books? I know the gobs in IOF drops them. But surely you can buy them some where else right?

I am currently in Qeynos so I hope there is someone that carriese those items. Thank you in advance for your input!!

As Allakhazam has no EQ2 crafting forum as yet, I'm going to direct you to the best source currently on the web for the questions you are asking:

Suspensions are sold by the wholesaler in your tradeskill society. I don't know about rawhide armor patterns -- I suspect these are player-made, however. By other books, what do you mean? If you mean the ones that dropped in IoR, I believe they do drop in the newbie zones as well but I have not personally confirmed that. Otherwise, you can buy them off of players -- check the market board. If you mean the books for your chosen class -- e.g. scholar-- the essential books for each class are sold by the merchant for that class' society. The advanced books are drops, which again would be sold by players.

I think you will find all your answers once you join a crafting guild. The first guild you join is the general guild. Then, the more specific one when you get to 9/10. Then, finally, your finishing one at 19/20th. Just like adventure levels. Inside the guild craft area, you will find a vendor selling basic stuff. But, know that buying basic components will cost you at least 2x as much as making them yourself. Also note that the basic components sold by the vendors are the 'refined' varieties, not the 'raw' varieties. And in a lot of cases, you are going to have to go out and Forage. This is not your EQ1 crafting, your DAoC crafting, your WoW crafting, or anything you have ever seen before. Luck to you.
