I was looking around for Adept level spells for my enchanter and was wondering if there is an upgrade to the basic 'Storm of Lightning' spell. I do 10-15 dmg a piece with it in a fight, but that's really puny compared to some of the mobs we're facing now (mostly gnolls). All it really seems to do is **** them all off and then it's off to the races!! Anyone seen or posess this spell upgrade..??
I have not found the adept one either. Though the only time I use this spell is when we are in a group and AEing mobs. Other than that I use my dots to kill the mobs.

Sincerely, you should start forgeting Storm because in a level or 2, you won't ever be doing damaging spells.
I'm Lv.16 Enchanter, and all I do is stunning, mezzing and DoT.
Now that I think about it, I wish I never bought App. III for the spell I alreayd don't use anymore.

There is a lvl 8 tier 1 droped book you can scribe to make Apprent 3 storm of lightning. I know its not adept but it still helps alot over the apprent 1 spell. As for adept 1 its a mob drop and good luck finding it. If I were you I'd be checking the broker like crazy until the bugger shows up. Probably run you from 25-50 silver.
Aye, I have the App III spell (Made it myself.) I seldom use it, I mainly Root Rot the mobs stunning and nuking as needed.

I guess I have forgotten what an enchanter actually does since I have been running a cleric in the new game and only ran a cleric in the old one. Crowd control is probably the main job of an enchanter along with mind buffs and such. Thanks for the info, guys...
