I read that I could buy a pet for my house in the main city. Anyone know which part of the main city and the NPC name? P.S. on the good side.

I know there is a pet shop in South Qeynos. I seem to recall that pets are pricey though. But hey, if you've got the money, go for it!

I haven't a clue about Freeport though. Sorry.

Aye there is a pet shop, not to far from the Arch leading to the mage tower. The shop is in the Middle row of the buildings. Oh and they are pricey I remember in Beta seeing a few for over 1gp. (lol that is a lot?)

yea most of the pets in the SQ shop are over 1 Gold. I definatley want to get one once i have enough of a buffer to drop 1-2 gold.
