256mb ANYthing would work, or 128 or prob squeak with 64. The game site has hardware requirements.

If you can't duck it....

512mb will work, but there's even a thread that just started about running the game with 512mb. Compairing my PC to my friends which is pretty much the same, I have a 1GB he has 512mb. Its night and day really. I would recommened it but it is not required. I'd try out the game first and then deem it's worth spending the extra $$ for the ram.

As for video card suggestions that is cheaper then the one you selected....Personally I have a Nivdia FX5700 Ultra. It's not the BEST out there but it runs any game smoothly and perfect for me (including EQII). I'm always on a limited budget =( But i'm totally happy with this card and greatful.

I have the same video card as Mokuba, but I'm kind of worried that I only have a 1.15 GHz athlon CPU and 512 MB ram. Will it run OK? Also I only have about 17 gigs of free hard drive space. Will it fit?

The game should fit on the hard drive with no problem.

As for the video card, also no problem.

I am running a P4 1 GHz, with 768 RAM. The game is very choppy in cities, and even in the fields. However, I have a friend running almost an identical machine who upgraded to 1 GB RAM. It really is as someone said above "night and day". I am picking up more RAM tonight, and will let you know how it turns out.
