Brawlers/Monks - Staggering Stance?Follow

#1 Nov 29 2004 at 11:58 AM Rating: Decent
Anyone have some insight into this ability? It says it allows you to "Shield" your party from dmg, but requires you to target an individual a la Intervene.

I have never seen me take dmg FOR the person I use it on (again, a la Intervene) so does it just lower their dmg taken in general? I can see the agility increase it gives me, but what benefit does it have for the person I've cast it on?

Any help is appreciated!

I haven't tried this since I haven't grouped much yet. However I assume it works simular to the Warrior Shield Ability in EQ1. In EQ1 it allows you to target a player, and take some of the damage they are taking. I think it was around 40% of the damage, maybe less been a while since looked it up. Can be usefull to help keep like a healer or enchanter up, or MT. I don't remember it saying group in EQ2, might want to double check that.
