Hey guys, I am sorry to say that I am completely new to EQ. Just bought EQ2 and so far i have a level 10 Crusader, working towards being a Paladin. Well anyways i am having trouble knowing wich quests are worthwhile and not. Could you all post some quests that will benefit me financially and or with armor/weapons/gear? Also where should I be fighting right now? And should I solo or group? Can Crusaders take yellow enemies? And also What is considered well-off in this game so far? So far I have 26S and 1000+C. I have seen people with alot less so I don't think I am doing too bad.
Oh and also..I was wondering if there was anyway to trade in say 100C for a S? I was thinking the bank, but they don't appear to do it.

To answer your questions, yes you are doing fine financially. Yes you should be able to solo yellow mobs (singly) if they are solo mobs. You should be in Antonica by now (at level 10) and finally, the bank will change cp to sp you have to drag your cp into the bank and deposit it. If you like having your cash on you you can then pull the sp's back into your inventory.

Hope this helps!

Thanks that helps me. But I am still stooped as far as what's really important - the quests. Which ones should I do? and Which ones to ignore. With the mindset that I am going to a Paladin. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps!

Well, I certainly cant speak as to the good Paladin quests as I am a Sorcerer. I have found that any quests are good for filling the gaps when you cant find a group (or don't want to).
Persoanlly I prefer crafting for those times as its proven lucrative and enjoyable. All other times I'd prefer to get a group and smash mobs. You gotta ask around in groups or look up a lvl 20 pally and ask what he/she did. Good luck tho =)

Ya. Thanks again. Any suggestions on what craft I should do. And where to go to start?

I'm on the same path but am currently at lvl 14 so I've just been through where you've been. Make sure you do the tour of Antonica quest, it's annoying and takes forever, but is worth it. Also do the tour of Oakmyst quest too. Also I spent lvl 12-13 in the forest ruins castle. You can solo stuff in there and you get mad XP bonus on everything you kill, you'll level up so quick it will amaze you, plus you can work on your harvesting, foresting, and mining in there as well.
