Recruitment policy:

Effortless Guild is classified as a medium-hardcore raiding guild with overall guild strength at the forefront of our philosophy. Our foundation is core members from several previous games and some well established friendships.
Given that, recruitment is on a limited basis. We're looking to add a few members to our ranks who fit well into our community. Note that we are based in Freeport. Qeynos applicants are still accepted, but the requirement for grouping/spending time with us doesn't change. Bear in mind it will be more difficult.



BEFORE APPLYING, READ then REREAD ALL OUR GUILD POLICIES.


Requirements: Teamspeak (available at www.goteamspeak.com). For those not familiar with teamspeak, its a free, adware-less voice community tool used by online gamers to communicate. The only requirement is a microphone and an IP address (which we'll provide). Its mandatory for Effortless membership. We're not recruiting any members under the age of 18 at this time as well. Please check the section on teamspeak tips for those new to teamspeak. A few tips on decorum will greatly enhance your application and improve the overall capabilities of the entire guild.

Application: Please submit an online application in our app forum. At a minimum, include your primary play times, class, level, home city, and any keys/access quests completed. Also, provide a description of why you wish to join and what you feel you can contribute. Anything you feel would be helpful or something we need to know about you.

Get to know us: Once your application has been processed, a thread will be started on our member boards about you. Its your responsibility to get to know as many of us as possible by grouping/assisting the guild. You'll be invited to raids as room permits, and be put in touch with our Recruitment Officer. The Recruitment Officer will be your primary point of contact when looking to participate in an exp group or raid with guild members. A typical application period will last 2 weeks. That should give us ample opportunity to evaluate your personality and playstyle, to ensure you'll be a good fit into our community. Somewhere during this time frame you'll also receive a temporary guild tag.

Petitioners to our guild are only eligible for raid quality loot if no full members are interested.

If any problems arrise during your application, please direct them to the Guild Leader or the Recruitment Officer.

Now why would anyone blindly apply to any old guild without first knowing any of the members? So you know you would get along with at least one other person.
