Wizard or Warlock?Follow

I just chose warlock after reviewing the spell line up through 50 for wiz and warlock... Contrary to generally held beliefs, Warlocks do not seem to be any more DoT oriented than Wizards in terms of overall spells granted in EQ2... Both seem to get about the same number of DoTs and DD spells. The flavors are different (elemental v. disease/poison) and the other spells (besides dmg) spells are very different in the 2 classes. Note that I can't say that I know dmg done with the spells. It could be that the Warlock DoTs are more powerful and the Wizzie DD spells are more powerful. Some posts on boards seem to support this idea but I havent found any thing to be sure about it and the claims re: relative damage have been confounded by people using different levels of the same spell. All I can say with certainty is that the types of damage spells in the Wiz and Warlock classes are remarkably similar. I went warlock because I wanted to turn insolent group members into frogs, like when they cancel one of my buff spells. I've already gotten enuf laughs from that one spell to make it worthwhile (like the SK who came riding up bragging about his new horsey who I promptly frogged).
