Qeynos vs Freeport and a question on spellsFollow

Right now I have a 13/13 high elf cleric/craftsman in Qeynos. I decided I'd like to give a mage a fair shake and made a darkie only to realize that Q and FP don't share a banking system. Granted, that would make snese, but it is completely annoying! My thought was I'd make a mage/scholar and let my cleric do the harvesting since her forresting, mining, and gathering are all in the 65 range. Now that's not really possible.

Here are my questions:

#1--If I made a "good" (bleh) mage, should I get her harvesting skills up as well or save time and say to hell with it and let the cleric be the farmer?

#2--Would a mage be better and getting around the world and harvesting than a cleric? I know I have a hell of a time out in say Windstalker (sp?) villiage area trying to harvest tier 2 resources without getting myself slaughtered by lizards, highwaymen, insane animals, or worst of all, Holy herself.

#3--Is there anyway to share a bank or resources between a character in Qeynos and one in FP?

#4--Finally, on another topic, I have mostly App3 spells for my cleric (ones that I was able to make), but I'd like to know when and where I should start seriously trying to go Adept? Meaning, where should I go (nearby) for these drops and when should I go there?

Thanks!!

I'm bumping this up since I posted it in the wee hours of the morning and could really use the advice :)

Thanks!

i take it that your alt character still young. Ditch it and create new one. Or do betreyal quest to switch to Quenos (or move your main guy to Freeport). Game is what you have to work with. So no sence complaining, deal with it.

1) Whatever class you are, it's a good idea to get the harvest skills up. It's extra money selling on the market!

2)As a cleric, I'm having no problems harvesting and avoiding the monsters. You just have to be patient. But in fact, any class is fine harvesting resources this way. I find that I can get the nodes more readily in monster spawn areas than I can in easier more accessable spots (for obvious reasons). Within an hour I can fill up my bags with tons of resources. But of course there are risks, and you must be prepared to fight or flight.

3) No. Says this in the Online help. In fact even if you switch from one town to another, you cannot share the shared slots.

4) If you look at a broker NPC and look for Adept upgrades, you can examine them and see how much skill in whatever skill it requires. That'll give you a good idea. At level 17 I still cannot scribe Adept 1's.
