Character Names...Follow

The absolute WORST name I've ever seen, bad enough to cause an uproar in Plane of Knowledge in EQ1, was "Fayled Abortion". GM's got so many reports that they were there within minutes to change that guy's name. I just don't understand how anyone could think that 1. It was humorous or amusing somehow and 2. That anyone would want to talk to them or be seen with them. I can't imagine that very many people would have grouped or guilded with him, had the GM's not changed his name.

Sometimes there will be a name like that, that is truly offensive. Other than those situations, I just shake my head to myself, realize that the person with the really stupid name is probably a young boy, and ignore it. In the scheme of things, it's really not a big deal. I'd rather have 1000 people with names I don't care for, than 3 people shouting and having arguments in OOC.
