i have a simple question .. as a shadowknight you get a summon horse spell at lvl 20, do other classes get the same spell .. or do they have to buy a horse, and if not what about paladins? since they are the good crusaders do they get a holy stead spell?

thanks.

You have to buy the spell from a trainer in NFP for about 14 silver. Paladins do get a holy stead spell as well.

I don't think any other class gets a horse spell.

hmmm palies get a holy stead, well there are fun spells i believe for each class, as a paladin you get a faithful squire,
what do SKs get?!

Thanx

I believe the horse is our fun spell, as well as the paladin. It's not just for fun though, the horses definitly move faster than you normally would. I'd say a little slower than the sprint pace.

At lvl 40, Paladin and SK both get Summon Squire.

ok one last question.

is it hard to do the SK path quest at lvl 18? or do i have to do it when i hit 19, soe people say its piece of cake at 18 and some say wait till 19, i personally would like to start it at lvl 18 and finish it off, wonder if i could do it at that lvl.

and what are the reward for completing this quest?

Thanks alot for your replies.

The instanced battle is really easy. It's getting there that's the hard part.

There's a ton of aggro mobs that were group/blue++ to me at lvl 19 and there was no way I could fight my way through. I finally learned to just sprint past everything and hope I lost the mobs before I ran into more aggro.

I wish I'd found this map before I went, it would have saved me hours of time:

Once you enter the instanced zone, you'll see two sets of mobs. They're far enough away that they won't aggro when you step in so don't worry. They where solo rated and one set was green and one set was blue (at lvl 19) and I think they even had down arrows. I pulled the greens first then rested to full (didn't have to but wanted to play it safe). Then I pulled the blue ones. I don't think I was ever even close to being in trouble.

You get a pretty nice one handed sword for finishing the quest:

Just a little info on the Holy Steeds/Unholy steeds. I can confirm that the speed of the steed is absolutely matched with sprint. I've had multiple races to confirm my theory :) Once initiating combat however you slow down to regular speed, if not even slower. Never can tell because to survive I have to cancel out the horse and sprint :D

so you zone to instanced zone from thieves way right?

but this zone doesnt show in the map !

amd the sword is nice , but im using atm doom stick which is 7-20 and has some stats, do you think this sword would hit higher damage because its a sword and not a stick?

The instanced zone is in the Serpent's Sewer which is connected to the Thieve's Way. This map shows how to get to Serpent Sewers:

Doom Stick will be green to you by lvl 20. I'm pretty sure the sword would be better. I don't believe the damage in the allakhazam db is correct.

[edit]

Nope. Alla's DB is incorrect. The damage I see on the sword is 11-32 @ lvl 20 (13-39 @ lvl 24)

I think you could do it at 18. Might be a little risky in the sewer but if you stay to the left and sprint your way there, you should be fine.
