picking a god?Follow

I've noticed that some characters run around with a title of a god above their head (ex. Kevo of Innoruuk of Bashem of Hate). It doesn't seem like its a racial trait because I believe I have seen characters as low as 13 with these titles. What do these titles mean? Do they give any benefits? How do you get them? and are they worth it?

These are actually given to you if you had an EQ1 account. For example, if you played on Rallos Zek on EQ1 and you toon's name is Rocky then it would read: Rocky of Rallos Zek.
