Cleric Armor Class - What is the standard at lvls 10-20?Follow

Has anyone figured out what the average AC should be for a player, specifically a priest/cleric for lvls 10-20. The reason I ask is that I have noticed on the items that I received from quest that they will be orange for me to use (thus I barely have the skill) but only have an AC of 5 with a few stats where as other armor I have from another quest is green and has an AC of 30 and some stats. I know that AC will be dependant upon the type of armor and the slot it fits in, but I was just curious as there doesn't seem to be much of a standard.

In the original eq, (before POP) at the higher end you could expect a BP for plate classes to be about 50-60 AC, helms, gauntlets, boots to be about 20-25 AC, etc..etc.

I was just curious if anyone has noticed a standard yet for EQ2 and if so what that average standard was so that I might compare things to assist in influencing whether I countinue to work on blue/green quest for armor or if I should go out and exp grind for it.

Appreciate any input.

Thanks

At level 15 (shaman), my character has 387 AC. Not sure if thats good, bad, or just ugly but I haven't really been paying to much attention to armor. Most of my pieces are white, yellow, and orange, with a few light blues. Most items have been quested and a few purchased from vendors or brokers to fill in the holes.

That 387 AC includes courage buffs.

Ok thanks! I just hit 14 last night and as a cleric I'm at 389. I was just curious to have some sort of benchmark to gauge myself against.

Just to throw in a tank comparison for you, I'm a 16 crusader at the moment, and my AC is somewhere in the neighborhood of 540 (no buffs). All of my gear is quested, and I've filled every slot.

I haven't noticed a standard, there is player made leather armor that you can wear that has better AC than the dropped stuff and nice stats. In the beta my AC and HP was very close to Tanks around 600-700 I haven't seen this leather armor for sale yet.

Once you hit 20 you want to look at Forged Carbonite armor, at this point this armor is not being made on my server, and quickly start into the Armor Quests. I have the Cold Forge Gloves right now and the AC at 20 was 68 now at 22 it is 78 at 25 will max out at 92. That is just the gloves. Working on the Bracer right now need to kill 2 more rats and I can move onto Armor Quest III. This is the same armor that the tanks will be wearing.
