EQ PROB PLZ HELP :: Free Realms

I have a good enough computer to run EQ and I loaded EQ and everything installs nice and smooth but then when I get to account screen and I hit PLAY all i get is a black screen with the EQ2 mouse pointer and music playing in the back any suggestions would be helpful. Is there a server select or something i must go to first?

I don't think I can be of much service to you with this information. Update your video card drivers to the newest version. I don't know if there are any options you can select before going in game but if you can, try to turn the graphics down. Other than that, you may want to check EQ2Players.com for more technical help.

its ur antivirus and or firewall...same happened with me....depending on what firewall.antivirus u are using..turn them all off and try. I use norton and zone alarm...so when the black screen comes, i just hover my mouse bottom right and it turns to the windows white pointer. When it turns to that, click until the box appears :) et voila...grant permissions and ur done. Hope that helps :)
