Brawler Fighting CapabilitiesFollow

I just became a brawler and boy did my damage output without weapons go up :) But I'm wondering a couple of things. I can now dual weild things also. Will I be doing better damage/delay ratio using nothing, two weapons using the fists ability, or two weapons using the staff ability? Assuming the damage/delay with the fists and staffs are the same? Also is there a way to find out how much damage I am doing without any weapons?
