How do you kill Driftskull? does more than one person need to go in? I have 3 shards in there already!!!

Ya, my GF had a really hard time with this too. She must have died 5 times in there. The trick is to upgrade to at least App II for your sneak ability and to keep away from the dogs (they'll break your sneak).
What if you have no sneak, or is this a creature only scouts get to fight?
Yes, it's for predator quest. You have to assasinate a guy who is surrounded by blue, group rated mobs. You can't bring any help in with you.

The trick is to notice the pattern of the dogs guard run. If you time it right, you will not have to fight any dogs. Also, you can avoid the dog at the bottom of the stairs by hopping the stairs to the right of the column.
I hated this quest, because the range of agro from the dogs are broken.
A dog can detect you both up and down, as well as on the same floor.
I was in the captians room, about ready to kill him, when the dog on the first floor roamed under me. He was two(2) floors down and still agro'ed and ran up.
Stupid walls.

its a test to be a perditor. its all about being sneaky. i got caught a few times but its ez not to die. just run to the door and try again. you can't bring any help and frankly if you need help you dont desirve to be a perditor.
