Crafters CAN make moneyFollow

Just a little heads up for those that have been complaining that they make no money from crafting. I am a level 10 outfitter, I spent an hour mining and gathering resources and started crafting. after a short while I had two rawhide backpacks (6 slot 5% wt reduction) and one pristine rawhide backpack (6 slot 10% wt reduction). The total cost of production for the three came to roughly 1s60c. Deciding to keep the pristine one and one of the normal i put my third pack up for sale. I also put all the malachite I harvested up for sale and went to bed.

When i got up this morning I had sold my pack for 10s and about 15 pieces of malachite at 40c each. So for an outlay of maybe 3 hours and 1s60c, I recouped 16s.

Ok, so this isnt a load of cash but its a start. When i am maxed out on my packs I can repeat and sell three packs, boosting my earnings to anywhere between 36s to 50s for the same outlay (depending on the quality of the packs).

So, there IS hope out there for us crafting types :) It's just a case of selling to players and not NPC's.

Cheers
Minky

You can also make really nice profit off workshop orders. I made 10 shaped tin sconces for my workshop today. Took quite a while to craft all the parts from scratch, but for an investment of about 6 silver and a few hours, I got back about 50 or 60 silver, not bad at all. If you buy the components the profit will be less, of course.
