Some things that are confusingFollow

I just finished the quest to become a crusader and the guy game me armor and a ring. When I try to equip the armor it says something like you need 55 heavy armor. What does that mean? I haven't seen anything in the instruction booklet or game yet that explains how armor and weapon requirement work.

Thanks I'll try that. So equipment is based on level without saying required level (x) like in other games. Something else that is confusing is there are weapons that say duel weild, but I can't duel weild I guess. How do you know if you can or can't?
