Is there a Box/Bag for the House to store stuff in? That way you can put items in it, then a trustee can come and pick it up from said box/bag. That would be cool. I thought that was kind of the reason for a house or room.

Thanks in advance.

That was what they originally said would be part of the housing, but they decided to take it out. So in short, no. :(

Now for my question. Are they planning on putting it back? Or no word? Or is it out for good?

From what I've read on the everquest2.com forums housing is just intended to be the way you can set up your vendor, apparently they plan on making it so that you can put crafting stations into your house so you can craft and sell at the same time, but that is the only change anyone has heard so far. Maybe they will change thier minds and allow us to store items in our house eventually but as of now I don't think there is any official word either way.

More than likely we will have to buy an expansion for any "new" additions they deside to give us anyhow. hehehe. The evil ways of the mythical corporations are known to us it is only a matter of time.....

You can put specific things that are already designed to be placed in the houses on the bookshelves, like the book you get from the crafting quest on IoR, but you cannot put any item from your inventory on a bookshelf to use it as storage.

Yah I was kind of dissapointed to discover that there was no in house storage. I droped 2sp on a trunk for my room just to find out it didn't do anything. I'd also like to see something put in to let you pay your rent in advance. I know you can put some cash aside in the bank, but I have to budget in real life and don't want to have to do it in my game. I think it would be nice to be able to drop a silver or two in the door as I pass by.

Absolutely... I said the exact same thing... I have the Silver NOW... I may not have it at rent time...

Besides selling through your bulletin board, is there ANY reason to have a house? I haven't been crafting, and I'm not able to leave my character in my house all the time for selling stuff. Moreover, while in my room at the inn in Willow Wood, I decided to see if people were selling any armor that I needed, so I did a search. It came back with results from people selling at the inn in Willow Wood. Can you buy stuff from people in other areas of the city, or is trade really that limited in this game? Personally, coming from FFXI, I like this game much better, but bitterly weep for the loss of the auction house...
