I have currently moved--well, still in process--and will not have a high-speed connection for another 2 weeks. Is it viable to even try and play EQ2 on dial-up until that time? I tried to do a search but it is not working for me.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm not sure about it's viablity. But I do reletively well in most places as long as theirs not to many other people in the same zone as me. But I also need better hardware and am pretty sure it's the performance of my comp affecting the lag as appose to the dial up connection.

I know that some people do use Dial Up. But I can't guarantee you a very positive experience with it. However, if you're only going to be tooling around on the Isle of Refuge, perhaps you'll be ok.

Ya I had very little problem with the Isle of Refuge.

I guess I will give it a try. Luckily it will only until my DSL is installed...friggin phone companies take forever to do anything.

Ya they do. I should be getting my DSL stuff in the next couple of days myself, but I ordered it a week ago.
