Pssst...

Hey you!

You lookin' to betray Freeport? So am I!

I'm looking for a group of people on the STEAMFRONT server that want to get together one day and work on the betrayal quest from Freeport to Qeynos. I'm too low to do it on my own, but I'm TIRED of living under these tyranical conditions...

You FOOL! I shall have to report you to the Free Port Malitia.

I'm on Steamfront as well, if you woulda asked a week ago I woulda been up for it. but made to many friends who are staying, although the number of people betraying FP is alot higher then ones betraying Qeynos.

Yeah... I LIKE the server... Made some frieds myself. But I'm just not the "evil" type.. :) But I wanted to make a Ratonga, and I wanted to make a character who can say that they had a moral change of heart and needed to be good. Obviously he also became a priest... lol.

Funny thing, I have been thinking about posting this FOR about a week now.. Wish I had!

interesting.. I wonder why more people are going to betray freeport than Quenos.. hmm..

I have a character heading to freeport but she's still on the island.. once I get there I may have a clearer understanding. ^_^

And here I was about to go ahead and betray Qeynos - seems like I actually had the right idea from the start! ^_^

Lets see maybe its because there are more "monster" type toons that are evil than good. Kerra are the only ones that can be good but are nuetral so can start in either city. Now when froggies get unlocked I know for sure I'm gona betray Quenos as I'm tired of being pious and virtuous.

Oh and to the one who said they're just not the evil type, you did murder refugees in order to gain citezenship. Just a note. Hehehe.

but.. it's not murder when you slap the words "Justice" and "for the greater good" in front of the act.. ^_~

Justice is blind and canot be used as an excuse, it is neither good nor evil in effect but acts as a means of order for both. As to the greater good, well greater good is also synonomous for well being and anyone who is good would never be willing to kill another person just because it serves the purpose of the Law. A good person would be willing to compromise a punishment worthy of the situation without resorting to death. That is what makes a good person weak. Anyone who is capable of murdering a person for the "greater good" of a given society/city is doing an inherently evil act regarless if it is "justice" served or not. This is based on the idea (yes idea because good and evil are just ideas) that murder in and of itself is evil.
