Is the coin good for anything? Must you keep it -- given limited space am trying to free up all I can but I don't want to destroy anything I need! Also where the heck can you buy bags once you are off the island?

Put it into the bank. As I recall it's used in a shortish quest to get a free item for your house.

You can buy bags once you've left the island from most general merchants. They're around.

Check some of the merchants in youre starting area, most 4 slot bags sell for around 1 silver. As for the coin eh, I still have mine in the bank not sure if it's ever going to serve a purpose. Guess it's better to just hang onto it just in case.

Do you know which quest, RP? I've still got my coin, and I'd like to free up some bank space also if I could.

Most good (5+ slot) bags are player made. For the bank, you can make (or buy) strongboxes. I currently have all my char inventory slots filled with 6-slot 10% WR bags, and have almost all my bank slots filled with 6-slot elm strongboxes.

I don't know how many slots the higher level strongboxes will have. Someone told me they heard that the highest level strongbox will be a 40-slot box, but don't know this for sure. I do know that I won't be making those, as I'm going to be an armorer.

If anyone needs bags, and you're on the Kithicor server, send me a tell. I'll be happy to make you some bags - for a price Smiley: wink

As an additional reference point on bag capacity, I saw a 12-slot bag for sale on a NPC merchant the other night (somewhere in Qeynos, damned if I remember who/where). It cost over a gold, so I'm not going that route for a long time. For now it's 6-slot self-crafted bags for me.

There is an 8 slot bag you can quest in Nettleville... Verth's delivery... turn crate into lieutenent instead of brother for bag

Is there an equivalent Quest in Freeport? Would it be called the same?

If you kill the Goblin Warmonger (cons even "group" mob at level 5), he drops a 6-slot satchel. He spawns regularly, and although the bag is LORE (can only have one), its a free 6-slot bag.

as someone mentioned, stronghold boxes and bags (playermade) start out with 5 slots and are easy to make through artisan crafts.

Every Qeynosian should do their Tour of Antonica quest. It grants a 10 slot, 0% weight reduction bag. The quests is started by a dropped book that drops off of mobs in Antonica.
