Few questions...

1) Anyone know how to check/keep track of your Guild Status Points?

2) Who/Where are the merchants (in freeport, specificially) who you can exchange these points into for items/services?

3) how does a guild gain XP as shown in the guild window.

thanks in advance for help

I don't know anything about Freeport (yet), but there's an NPC in Qeynos who hands out quests just for guilds. Get your guildies together and do a few of the quests, and your guild will gain exp. Maybe someone else can tell you who you should talk to in FP, and also answer your other questions.

I would like to know how to donate accrued status points TO the guild. I know they automatically take some from each player upon completeion of the writs, but I'd like to just give ALL of mine to my guild. Anyone know if this is possible?

And the guy to buy from in FP is in the top of an inn.... cant recall the name.

I am unsure if the individual can set how much they receive from the guild. But the leader(s) can set a percentage that is given to individuals for each completed writ (or at least i believe it says that in the manual).

It might just be easier to go to the FAQ site from the Dev's on the EQ2 page

Thank you, that sorta cleared some things up.... but not enough. My members are still all really confused and SOE sucks much butt at explaining things well. Why the heck do they need to be so vague?! Its really frustrating and thier website hurts my eyes, lol.

From what I see there is no way to contribute MORE of your personal points to the guild? Gosh maybe I missed that part... *sigh*

short version

Your personal status points are your to spend. Basically when u do writs you get status points for yourself and the xp that you would of gotten for completing the quest gets turned into guild status points. You can check your contribution while you have premo access to eq2 players. Here is link to the general guild page http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/guild_index.vm Basically look up your guild then click on the highest contributor and it will list all. Like I said before i think this is only available for premo service.

You can check your personal guild status points at any time by bringing up the persona window (p by default).

You earn guild exp and levels by doing the writ quests from the NPCs in whichever city you are in. I don't know anything about Freeport, so I won't try and find the NPCs there. Once you find them and do a few writs it all becomes pretty self-explanatory.

yeah, we knew about all that stuff already. Our biggest issue was if we could donate MORE of our earned points to the guild rather than keeping them all on us as individuals.

Now we're just dealing with the repetative writs and getting bored with gray mobs =/
