Well, that's actually good to hear. I was tempted to call in sick this morning to stay home and play EQ2. Glad now that i didn't cave to my addiction, hehe

I've been blessed with a lot of free time in the early morning hours lately. Unfortunately downtime always seems to come then. :/

It makes sense of course. It's a pretty slow time, traffic-wise. I was just getting into a grove with my scout though... Oh well, I guess I'll move my workout up a few hours. :)

Hopefully the updates/fixes/maintainence will slow down after they get all the release glitches straightened out.

Overall, EQ2's launch was amazingly good: I haven't ever experienced a server crash, lag spike or disconnection, and haven't noticed any serious bugs (except the ones that get addressed, as hopefully the market board one will be).

I think they take down the servers when they do because they figure the majority of players are playing until, at the latest, 4 a.m. PST. Personally, I like this method better than most MMORPGs going down at 1-2 a.m.

I was close to calling in sick as well, because I havent done so in a long while. I'm glad I didnt, else I would have been more bored at home...

LOL..... ok servers came back up about 30 minutes early, kinda nice of them. I was able to play for a bit, but was then called in to work. If anyone is at home playing, have fun.
