Well we already have a scam going by a tard named foct told me he was working up tinkering skill and could he imbue some of my items i loaned him some and he promptly logged. spoke with him today and he basically told me that he won't give me them back. "you traded them to me so i didn't steal them and thats not a scam" sorry but when you ask somone to help you raise a skill and then take the things that you have been given to raise the skill then log thats stealing and yes its a scam. BTW this person is on the Butcherblock server please help slap him down for this foolishness buy nothing from him and sell him nothing.
Thanks

Sorry to hear what has happened. There are always people like this. I learned the hard way my self in other games. At least it wasn’t something highly valuable.

Because people like this I never loan anyone anything period. Unless of course it’s someone I trust.

I know how you feel, I hate people like that.

Man, that really bites *** that Foct pulled that crap on you. Hope lots of people on BB server read this. Is there any way to report this to a GM or something?

Because it was a trade they will not do anything. However if the person continues to do things of this nature something may become of it. Least that's what was stated when I contacted a GM in another game. They couldnt do anything but would watch their actions. Weather thats true or not, i'd hope they would.

Still worth a try.

It's not a fair deal thats for sure. Again people like that suck

Sir Kastigir,

That was uncalled for.

I dont think he has unreasonable expectations.

People who pull crap like this ruin the game for the rest of us. I like to trust people. I like to help people, and I would like for them to trust me.

I am not a scammer or theif, but because of people like this I get treated like one (we all do).

Way to go....

Was it? How long you been playing games on the internet? How many times have you read, seen, or experienced a similar story? I've seen people complain about this all the time, and usually the only person to blame is themselves. To give an analogy, you drop a brick on your foot, it hurts, you do it again, it hurts again. Now, how many times of dropping that brick will it take before you realize that if you stop, your foot will not hurt anymore?

I understand what you're saying. I also wish that you could trust people in any MMORPG. Sad fact is though...you can't. The sooner you, the opening poster, and everybody else realizes this, the better off we'll be.

He wasnt being a moron, he was trying to help a fellow gamer. Ive given lower level gear to noobies for free to help get them started, spotted complete strangers a silver or 2 to help them buy something they need AND did what Helos did. Only difference is I didnt run into some ***-munch who scams people. Its just its getting harder and harder to extend a helping hand without worrying of getting bit. Rest assured though, one day theyll get theirs.

Sir thanks for your reply and your right the only person to blame was me, However i always thought a scam is a crime i can bet you money if you did something like this in RL i could have your *** in jail in seconds. this may not be RL but sony says scams won't be tolerated then let the proliferate. the gear wasn't spectacular but it was my time i put in on the quests nad he just stole them if i know who he was in RL i'd put my foot in his *** for being a tard. Mainly wanted to let anyone on BB know that this guy is a **** and completly unworthy of assistance and trust. if it were EQ 1 id have spent a few hours training him. unfortunatly i can't in EQ 2 but ill put the word out and hope somone screws him, or when he needs help or something noone helps.
