A crude gnoll mapFollow

Has anyone done this quest? I got this quest a few days ago from a gnoll near BB. Anyway, I have done the quest up to the part where Farmer Wallcott says I need to inspect bales of hay for enchanted straw. Or something alone those lines. I have asked around and no one seems to have any idea where or what Im looking for. So I figred I might as well post here and see if any of you have done this quest, or if you can point me in the right direction. Anyway, thanx for any helo, its much appreciated.
