Hi there.

I spent a great deal of time on IoR raising my harvesting skills. I finally made it to Qeynos yesterday. Right now I am level 8 (priest) doing the cleric quest. Qeynos and it's surrounding areas are so huge that I am at a bit of a loss as to where to go next adventuring wise. Can someone recommend a good place to hunt for a while (prefer solo right now but wouldn't mind grouping) or possibly some good quests?

Thanks

I leveled up to level 12 on quests alone. Just speak to every NPC in every area and you will get a lot of good items, money and experience plus you will beging to make maps, in your head, to the different zones. Quests are a great way to know the areas.

You can also cheat a little and go to the Quest section to the left.

Yep, what they ^^ said.

Quest, quest, quest. It's the best way to get exp and money and also learn the lay of the land. (sort of, I still get lost, lol)

questing is definitely the way to go at that level. though if you wnat to fight your way through the xp just step outside into antonica and there are rats and snakes that need butchering.

In addition hunt down some maps!

The hunting zones around qeynos are:

Down Below
Peat Bog
Forest Ruin
Caves
Oakmyst Forest

My favourites (as a cleric) were Peat Bog and Oakmyst Forest. Both of these are outdoors zones. Depends what you like...

Regarding maps, I found the maps at:
http://www.gry-online.pl/eq2/maps.asp?ID=13
(this will display the peat bog page but there is a nice menu on the left).

Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with the folks who make the maps, I just found a link to their site on EQ2-Traders and followed it...

cheers
