Thanks guys. good post.

If someone can gathering infos on crafting book drop, that would be great. since all the receipts are in game not like EQ 1.

Great guides, guys! Thanks!

But neither answers my pressing question of the moment. I am currently 121% into Artisan level 9. I can't progress to level 10 without doing a tradeskill quest.

I've declared myself an Outfitter already at the crafting society, but have yet been unable to find the NPC who gives out the lvl 10 tradeskill quest.

Anybody know where I can find the NPC for this? By the way, I'm in Freeport.

There is no level 10 quest, all you do is make an item and you will ding to level 10. So go to workshop and make something.

Seems how you are 121% in i doubt it is a matter of making an item but im pretty sure this was fixed in the patch today.

I was at 103% when I choose scholar. I was frustated that I didn't ding too, but then I dinged as soon as I made another item.

Yep, I was 120% into lvl 9 and same thing happened, I made one item and ding was 22% into 10.

Hmm. Ok, I'll try making more items when I get home tonight. I did just realize that I had not declared myself an Outfitter yet, and haven't made anything since I've done that. Maybe that's what I needed to do.
