i heard that it doesnt really matter in the diffrence between stats and races,
ex. ogers and ratongas are both warriors and both level 10
for example ) anyway and will they both do the same damage pretty much, ( keep in mind they have the same armor weapons ect.) or are orgers 30 str gona make ogres do way more damage,
im so confused, i want to be very strong but if race choices dont matter than ill just pick my fav race instead of the oger

Yes, your stats will make a difference, hence why you will see more Ogre Warriors, than, lets say Ratonga, Stamina will determine HPs, ogres will obviosly have more hps than ratonga of the same class, but Ratongas would make better rogues, because of agility, able to hit more often with there special abilities, etc considering your main stat determines your power and other things, the players handbook goes into this as well .
Late game however, it is to be seen, with gear, etc. However, I say play what you want to match your persona, play-style, and how you want to RP your character. I hope this cleared it up some.

well I've compaired weapon damage between my friends ratonga and my troll and there is a difference in weapon damages between them. It is not drastic but its there. Also, the hp pool is much lower on the ratonga.
I like the idea of a ratonga warrior so i'm not going to say don't do it. The agility might make up for the damage and hp to some extent and, yes, eq later on can be used to compensate hp and damage. My only concern for this is that if a troll wore the same eq he'd be that much more effective.
I am 50/50 either way. You can effectively be a ratonga warrior and I think it'd be hellah cool. If you want the best of the best for hp and damage, go with an ogre or troll.
A little rat with a great axe that throws hand axes......does seem very cool though so i'm thinkin about changing suit :p
