Great Post Started and needs a Bump back to the first Page...

I'm at lvl 19 now and soon to be the biggest, baddest GNOME MONK around..lol

Question: Where do we go to start our lvl 20 LIGHT Armor Quests for Qeynos Monks?

or do I have my info all mixed up about the armor quests? Do they Start at lvl 20? and is there armor quests for all Classes of armor for both sides (Qeynos/Freeport)?

Excellent information here! Glad to see Brawlers have their act together...

Question, though: I am currently a lv 15 Kerra Brawler headed to Monk. I really feel that as Kerra I should be using my natural claws and not a weapon, nor should I be using all armor (helmet interferes with "cat" senses, gloves negate natural claws etc. You can tell I roleplay this fellow!).

Does this mean that I will lose out on the stat bonuses that such items can provide? Are there no items that reward using NO weapons, for example, for this class?

Any thoughts, info appreciated

Rakasha, 15 Kerra Brawler, Feydark

ummm i think you can do somthing like /shadow hood
to get rid of the graphic for the helms... as for the gloves im not sure but i think the 20 armor quest gloves have no graphic, SOE used thier head on that one.

but use a weapon, you dont have to as bare hands does work, but weapons help out a lot IMO.

I will experiment with the weapon v no weapon a bit more tonight. I also plan to complete the Willow Wood quest that yields that great big hammer! Then I plan to brawl, brawl, brawl!

I will post my own test notes versus scarecrows tonight before going to.... uh..what's that thing called..?? Oh, yeah! Sleep! <grin>

hey guys for all you brusiers in Free port the guy you go to start your Armor Quest for lvl 20 is Vassi. He is an Iksar on the second floor of the Jade Tiger Inn.

On a side note Jareth w/e his name is, can be found near the Free Port griffin station head along the coast, away from the tower toward the mountains, and you should see this canyon like ramp leading to the beach. Be carefull as you will need about 5 ppl lvl 20 to kill him, Healer is a must. Might be able to kill him with less but I had 5, and this bugger hits very hard. think he conned White 2up arrows at lvl 20.

I currently have a level 11 half-elf brawler (soon to be monk) and I've also noticed a small increase in my attack when I use my 2 handed maple bo staff instead of my fists..attack goes from 179 to 180.

Oh yeah do you guys know what level, and whom to talk to, to start my light armor quests?
#36 Nov 30 2004 at 12:16 PM Rating: Decent
well the level is 20, as for who you speak with I dont kno, sorry. might want to check the inn in the central district of your town tho, Vassi, dude for freeport light armor, was located in North Freport, which is sorta the central areas of the city. Also try asking a level 23 or so Monk, as they should know, and most ppl I have asked for info have been very helpful.

any one know were to get Dreadnaught Kata?
#38 Dec 02 2004 at 7:09 AM Rating: Decent
Do not get Dreadnaught Kata. Waste of 13 silver, if it was only 1 silver it would be ok, but dont get it it sucks. Basically for 14 silver you get yourself a 6 second Kata show, As in your character will show off the Dreadnaught battle form. When compared to SKs ability to summon a horse this "Fun" spell licks big jacked up Bull B@lls.

OK... I found the Answer to this question.

Go to SELWYN by the Big tree at the East end of South Qeynos to start your Lvl 20 Armor Quest.

Must be level 20 to start.

ok just got done with AQ3 the mobs for these can be found in FG. the percilia lake, or what ever is the main landmark for directions to the mob locations. Right at the lake u can find the pustular scouts... not many spawn, down towards the broken room where giant wretches spawn, past that room and depper down, in the next room u find about every mobs you will need except dragoons, these conned white at lvl 21. Thats a good spot to say your exping, rather then doing AQ as some ppl rather exp then do quest. If your looking for easier prey you can go to the left when u first enter the percilia lake are and up the ramp to the second market place and those things should all be grey or blue at lvl 21, with the occasional white.

also cus i forgot to post this also, int the first area mentioned, the one where u head deeper down into FG, you can also find all the AQ2 mobs, however gloom snakes dont pop very often and when they do its in the tunnel you use to get to that chamber.

What kind of bonus?
#47 Dec 06 2004 at 3:01 PM Rating: Decent
I'm not exactly sure, but I do notice a damge bonus compared to when I equip batons etc, perhaps even a delay bonus, not 100% sure on it tho.

dont let you skill lvl get behind you. try and leep all your spells ap3 and higher, you will see considerable difference from a ap1 kick when compared to a ap3 or adept lvl, plus lower lvl skills perform much better when upgraded then say ap1 higher lvl spells.

Yea, with enough soap you could blow up just about anything.
#51 Dec 11 2004 at 4:38 AM Rating: Decent
