Housing access options?Follow

Aloha,
I will learn this tomorrow when Fed Ex gets me my Collectors Edition from Amazon but since I have nothing to do until then I thought I would ask some questions.

I know I will be able to allow others access to my house.

Do I have to give each individual seperate access or can I give my whole guild access automatically?

What access options are there? Entry only? Can they move furniture but not take it? Can they play with my dragon? I would like to let people in, even allow them to move the furnature around but I do not want them to be able to remove anything.

I have seen some posts that imply you can leave stuff in your house instead of the bank. I played in beta and did not see a way to drop stuff in the house.

And finally, if I get a bazaar bulletin board: Where is the stuff you are selling? Does it come from your bank vault? Your inventory? Or just a place in your house?

Thanks for any and all answers to these questions.

I think I can answer a couple of your questions.

Yes other can access your house but I think you have to give individual access but don't quote me on that as I haven't tried it yet.

I believe there are 2 types of access, normal and trusted. Anyone on your trusted list will have access to your house and also be able to move furniture around. However they can also remove it, there is no way to allow them to move it but not remove it.

I have heard that the only way to leave items in your house is to buy a chest and place it in your house, then you can leave the items in the chest. As for just dropping things in the house, you can't do that.

As for the bazaar I have not done that yet nor have I read anything on that particular aspect so I am not sure where the items haveto be stored in order to be sold. If it is similar to FFXI then they must be in your personal inventory and cannot be in the bank/house.

Actually, there are four levels of housing access:

None = No access. :)
Visitor = Can enter but not touch anything (entering vendor mode automatically opens your house to EVERYONE in Visitor mode)
Guest = Can move things around
Trustee = Can pick things up and leave with them
