New Priest, which Character? :: Free Realms

Hi
I got upto level 10 with my mage, but have decided to start over as a Priest (later to be a Cleric or Druid)

I was wondering what would be best though, High Elf or Barbarian?
Or do you recommend something completly different?

I don't think race would make that great of a diffrence in the effectiveness of a priest as many say so you probably shouldn't be concerned with which race has better stats but rather which race you think you may enjoy playing more.

I have a gnome priest (only started 20 wis) and I very rarely run out of power. I haven't really grouped, though, and I'm only L9 so far. It may come up later, but from what I've seen so far it's not an issue. Play as whatever you want.

I think it's great that EQ2 lets you play any race and any class. It encourages roleplaying more, and discourages "min/maxing" where people try to reduce their character to a series of numbers.
