hello all,

while im waiting for my game to arrive, i was wondering if you guys could help me.

i heared alot of people say that SKs are very week in eq2, is that true?
because i wanted to go for a shadowknight but then i also was considering a berserker so which class you think is a better choice?

I love EQ1 SKs and after studying the classes in EQ2, I feel that the scout classes such as brigand or assassin come closer to my vision of what a SK should be. The EQ2 SK just seems like an evil paladin, nothing shadowy/stealthy/necromantic about it.

the sk in EQ2 seems like the Dk of FFXI. Basically casting black magic to hurt/weaken his enemies while doing lotsa dmg o.O like the opposite of pld..

what about the berzerk? do you think he is a good tank ... damn i really was going for an SK, but lots of people put me down by saying SKs arent as powerfull as the SKs in eq1,
still will need to reconsider all the classes :\

Any of the fighter classes can be good tanks, that is how they are designed. They just go about it different ways. I can't say much more than that because I am more familiar with Priests at the moment. I am sure berserker is a fine tank, and based on the name I would assume he would generate hate mainly through his dmg (kind of how a WAR tanked in FFXI)
