The bar along the bottom of the screen is quite convenient whether clicking on the icons with the mouse or with the numbers.

My question is when you have more than 2 rows of these buttons set, it sometimes tedius during combat to mouse click the arrows to change rows. I was wondering is there was a keyboard shortcut to changing rows more quickly.
Of course if there is an easier way all together to make macros so that i dont even have to use the bottom bar that would be great to. ( just gettin off the final fantasy wagon )

Can't remember the shortcut for flipping bars atm, but I can tell you that it is possible to create multiple bars.

You'll end up with 3 bars at the most. The second and third bars will require shift and alt added to the number/symbol to use them. Or just click.

You may have also noticed that you can resize the hotkey bar. If you fiddle with it a bit, you'll find ways to make the bars into what yer looking for.. though they tend to snap back to the default shape. =P

If you right-click on the bar you have the option to create a new one. If you right-click on THAT one you have the option of setting it to secondary(alt) and tertiary(ctrl) bars. You can change those to whatever row of hotkeys you wanted to use. You still have ten slots for hotkeys, since the secondary and tertiary bars pull from the same pool of hotkeys.

Note that these re-assign themselves erratically between logins, and you'll have to change them back to the correct bar with the correct hotkey rows.

You will not have a bunch of bars blocking your view if you put them where you want. If you hover your mouse over the side, top or bottom of the bar, you should be able to make your box into a square or rectangle. You can even make it verticle or horizontal if you choose. Once you have your box the way you like it, and not in your way, you can right click on the box once again and choose window settings. from there you can change the opacity and lock your window into place so it doesn't move.
Hope that helps somewhat.
