Hail All!

As probably a great many of you feel, I'm kind of alarmed at the sheer lack of class info I've been able to find so far. I am currently a lvl 6 Half Elven Priest as I am leaning towards going Druid as soon as possible. I have a few questions that perhaps some of you could answer (i have perused the forums quite a bit, and if any of these have been answered, please refrain from questioning my intelligence ^^) :

1. What forms can Druids actually assume, and do these forms grow stronger, gain new abilities, etc?

2. What is the difference between Druid>Warden and Druid>Fury? ie, is one more geared towards melee, do they have different forms available to them, etc...

3. Are Druids a "Main Healer" class, or are they kind of balanced moreso along the lines of the Druids in Neverwinter Nights or Baldur's Gate games?

Thanks in advance for any replies, they are totally appreciated as I would hate to level up a class only to find out its nothing like I had imagined it. You guys rock^^

Thanks,
Garrobin

Well, I'll try to answer from beta experience of grouping with druids. Never played one myself, so don't take this as gospel:

1. Warden = wolf, Fury = lion (female, though. No mane)

2. Warden has more and better group buffs. Fury has more and better offensive spells.

3. All priests are main healers. There are no second-class priets in EQ2. In beta, we frequently had a Fury or Warden as our only healer, even deep down in dungeons.

The only catch with priests is that two of the same class (druid, shaman, or cleric) don't stack as well as two of different kinds would. You're a lot better off with a druid and a shaman than you'd be with two clerics, for example. Druids rejoice! :)

Right on, thanks for the responses guys. Again, totally appreciated. It definitely sounds like Fury would be the way to go for me - sounds pretty cool. One more question though - If I play a Kerran Fury and i shapechange to a lion, does it just look like I stripped and started running around on all fours? LOL, j/k. So far this game rocks, I hope it only gets better^^.
