WTF is with this... I install 9 twice and do all the checks and such and it just says it needs 9... and the game options pop up an error
There are different versions of directx9.. make sure you have the latest (9.0c, I think). It's on the install CD. Running the command dxdiag from the "Run" prompt will give you more information on your version.
