after all my hassles with the sony store, i finally buy copies from CompUSA, go thru the near hour long install, load up my char from the pre order generator thingie, make it thru the tutorial, hit the beach on Isle of Refuge and the server goes down..... DOH ah the birthing pains of a new mmorg !! *grinz and shakes head*

I learned long ago never trust a pre-order from a gaming company like this. Always trust the stores. (wait did'nt I have a problem with EB on this one, oh well).

I got mine copy for SOE at at 10:00AM on launch day. No problems here. BTW, it only took me about 15 minutes to install it...what's everyone complaining about?

Paying $90 for the platinum and I still don't have a copy. What's the point in paying hard earned cash for a starter kit if it arives after the launch date. I hope someone at SOE got sacked for that *****-up. It really isn't excusable. I'm seriously thinking about canceling the order and issuing a chargeback with the bank. The only thing SOE seems to understand is lost revenue.
