Hi
For a woodelf "mage", would it be best to train with a piercing weapon, or a 1hb (or 2hb)?

What Weapon for a "mage"Follow
After using piercing on Isle, and getting 2HP staff, on citizenship, I chose 2HP and sold the dagger. Just my 2 measly CP worth. (GEESH! you need how many of them for once cheesy silver that I threw away in EQ1?) See below for EQ2 chars

I am also useing a 2hb staff on my mage. I will stay that way for now. :)
I am doing the same thing (2hb) the one you get when you finish the sorcerer quest. Anyone found a good upgrade quest yet?

To be honest it doesnt matter which weapon to use, because later on in the game if you have to resort to using a weapon, then you can expect to die very quickly. Your spells are a far more important thing to concern yourself about.

^ the above poster is a genius. As a caster you want stats that up your mana pool.
