-.-;; what do i do if i get an error message when i try to play the game something like: <error> blahblahblahblahblah
You require a video card with at least 4 texture units

My video card: NVIDA GeForce MX X 440

is that not good enough T.T ?

GF4 MX cards are just Geforce 2 cards with a fancy label. They do not meet the minimum specs.

doh.. ok thanks.. so do you know of a relatively cheap video card that will suffice?

Edit: or is there anyway to lower EQ2's settings so i can play it with my cruddy video card?

No, there's no way to get it to run on an MX card. Basically, any other nVidia or ATI card currently being sold will work fine, but the more you spend on it the more eye-candy you'll be able to turn on.

EQ2 doesn't work on Geforce Go chips either, before anyone asks. I can't play on my notebook. :(

However, if you bought your notebook this week. then it would be able to play it :-) NVIDIA just released a new notebook video chipset. Vertex and Pixel Shaders included. FYI
