hey,

i was wandering who was better,

trolls or ogers, now there strength is only 5 points apart which i think is horrable, exspecially because barbarians str is 25 and trolls are 25, now trolls are alot bigger and stronger than barbarians, so im also wandering does 5 points really make a diffrence, and how many points do you get to add when you start the game?

help is greatly appriciated.

Barbarians have a stronger muscle tissue and tendons compared to size... so though they're smaller they're just as strong

Well i do not have my copy yet, but as i understand it, you put no additional points at creation or anytime after. Class as a specific stats progression, and i am not sure races changes anything to it, so there is really a tiny only difference between starting races.

im just saying because ogers are huge and always have been the strongest st they should be more than 5 points above the others

The racial differences in stats really aren't that relevant after the first handful of levels. Your chosen profession will end up giving you +15 to your primary stat in at least most (maybe all?) cases by the time you chose your sub-class at level 20. Gear also adds a decent amount, even the stuff you get on the isle of refuge. The real difference between the races will come from the racial abilities - and I don't yet know if this will really be a big difference or not.

Also, you add no points when you start. You do get to add a couple points to one stat of your choice circa level 8.
